No Longer just a Christian Nation...

Barack Obama has been quoted many times from his speech (28 June 2006) and from his website (http://www.barackobama.com/pdf/ObamaonFaith.pdf) regarding a "Christian America." For reference purposes I will give the quote again here.

“Given the increasing diversity of America's population, the dangers of sectarianism have never been greater. Whatever we once were, we are no longer just a Christian nation; we are also a Jewish nation, a Muslim nation, a Buddhist nation, a Hindu nation, and a nation of nonbelievers.” - Barack Obama, Call to Renewal Keynote Address

Christianity is so deeply rooted in American history that to deny our Christian heritage is to deny history. A visit to Washington, D. C. will suffice to prove our Christian heritage just by the references to Scripture carved in the stone edifices of our nation's capital. Yet, there are many who seek to rip our history to shreds to pacify their intense hatred for all things that reference Jesus Christ. The world doesn't hate Muhammed or Buddha or the many gods of Hinduism. Matter of fact, if you wish to pray in the name of Allah or any other god at a government office you are free to do so. But you cannot pray in the name of Jesus Christ! Maybe it's because Jesus Christ is God, the Son; before Whom all men will stand in judgment.

In its ruling in 1892 regarding the accusation that the Church of the Holy Trinity in New York was violating a federal immigration statute the Court said:

"Our laws and our institutions must necessarily be based upon and embody the teachings of The Redeemer of mankind. It is impossible that it should be otherwise; and in this sense and to this extent our civilization and our institutions are emphatically Christian...This is a religious people. This is historically true. From the discovery of this continent to the present hour, there is a single voice making this affirmation...we find everywhere a clear recognition of the same truth... These, and many other matters which might be noticed, add a volume of unofficial declarations to the mass of organic utterances that this is a Christian nation." The Supreme Court recognized what our government and educators reject: the United States of America was established as a Christian nation and continues to be so. Only Christianity guarantees true religious freedom. Islam categorizes any country without Islam as a country of war. Once Islam is forced unilaterally upon any country by the sword it is then categorized as a country of peace. There is no religious freedom in Islam, Hinduism or any other man-made religion. Only Biblical Christianity offers man a free choice.

Some may say, "Obama said we are no longer JUST a Christian nation..." To say the United States is no longer just a Christian nation is to deny its heritage and to deny its freedoms. If the United States is no longer just a Christian nation then it cannot guarantee the religious freedoms of those who seek its shores. Christianity, true Biblical Christianity that is founded on salvation in Jesus Christ alone and the authority of the Holy Scriptures alone recognizes and protects the free choice of man to accept or reject The One true God (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit) and the salvation He offers through God, the Son, Jesus Christ. It is because of that belief in the free will of man that the right of all citizens to worship or not to worship as they desire is guaranteed. When the USA ceases to be Christian it will cease to be free. Without true, Biblical Christianity the freedoms instilled by the Constitution can no longer be maintained and religious intolerance will ensue.

Let us rejoice that the United States of America is a Christian Nation! A nation that is founded upon the principles of Christianity and unashamedly stands before men and God as a nation of Christian heritage and Christian propagation.

Why won't they listen?

It is interesting that when we try to speak the truth to people they simply refuse to listen. I would challenge you to go to your place of employment and ask someone what they think about about Global Warming or about the Obama birth issue. Once they have shared the party line with you, speak the truth to them. You will immediately be categorized as a loony tune! If you try to speak about your faith in Christ you will receive even more ridicule. Why is that?

I was recently reading "The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich" by William L. Shirer. It is an interesting book that takes the reader to the heart of Hitler's regime. I would like to offer a quote from Mr. Shirer's book to possibly answer why people stare with incredulity when we try to speak the truth.

"No one who has not lived for years in a totalitarian land can possibly conceive how difficult it is to escape the dread consequences of a regime's calculated and incessant propaganda. Often in a German home or office or sometimes in a casual conversation with a stranger in a restaurant, a beer hall, a cafe, I would meet with the most outlandish assertions from seemingly educated and intelligent persons. It was obvious that they were parroting some piece of nonsense they had heard on the radio or read in the newspapers. Sometimes one was tempted to say as much, but on such occasions one was met with such a stare of incredulity, such a shock of silence, as if one had blasphemed the Almighty, that one realized how useless it was even to try to make contact with a mind which had become warped and for whom the facts of life had become what Hitler and Goebbels, with their cynical disregard for truth, said they were." (page 248, The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich by William L. Shirer) Emphasis mine.

The next time you speak the truth and see the blank looks on the faces of those to whom you are talking, remember...they have been indoctrinated in the totalitarianism of the current news media. The news is no longer news. It is the propaganda put forth to sway public opinion in favor of those who wish to steal our freedoms for their power gain.

The US dollar is worthless! This has come about because of the blatant disregard of the Constitution by our elected leaders .

Kenya-born Obama all set for US Senate

We live in the information age and because of that it becomes difficult to hide the truth. Jesus Christ said, "Ye shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free" (John 8:32). Jesus wasn't talking about the current political climate as the Truth that He was referring to was a person...Himself and the salvation He offers. However, truth in general does free us. The truth frees us from the constant barrage of lies, half-truths, and deception that, in this particular time, is being released on a daily basis by the "free" press.

Example...

We have been told by this administration that to question the birth of their "savior" is to reveal yourself as a radical conservative. Obama has revealed his birth information on the internet and, therefore, is compliant with the Constitution as a natural born citizen. Yet, when people ask for a simple long-form birth certificate they are labeled as radical conservatives with an agenda to subvert the government. Well, it seems a little truth would help to enlighten those who are still in the dark on this issue.

Kenyan-born Obama...

In 2004, Obama was touted as "Kenyan-born." Hmmm, the last time I checked a foreigner could not be a US Senator. In regards to senators the Constitution specifically states,

"No Person shall be a Senator who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty Years, and been nine Years a Citizen of the United States, and who shall not, when elected, be an Inhabitant of that State for which he shall be chosen." Article 2, Section 3 of the Constitution of the United

States of America.

Now the questions which begs answering is...

When did Barack Obama become a US citizen and where is the documentation of his citizenship? At present, he remains an illegal alien who has subverted the Constitution by allowing himself to be placed in the highest office of our country.

Pseudo President Obama chosen for Nobel Peace Prize??? Someone wake me and tell me it's a dream! For what??? He has been in office less than one year, is systematically dismanteling our country, has violated the Constitution on various points, has no regard for the life of our young and old and he receives the Nobel Peace Prize??? Again, I ask FOR WHAT???

"The choice was stunning nonetheless, given the nomination deadline of Feb.1, less than two weeks after the Obama presidency began."

Someone please explain to me what Obama had accomplished in less than two weeks that would qualify him for this award??? The only thing he had accomplished to that point was successfully becoming the first illegal president of the United States. And for THAT he gets the Nobel Peace Prize??? Apparently the folks who give this award are looking for the same thing that the Obama crowd is looking for: the dismanteling of the United States of America.

I know, our country is a thorn in the flesh around the world. People the world over have a love/hate relationship with the USA. They love our aid, but hate our values. I have a friend who was born in South Africa. He came to the USA for Bible College. I asked him what he thought of the USA. His reply? "Freedom! Total freedom!" And he's from South Africa!! You wouldn't expect that reply from a South African.

Yes, we are free! Free to negotiate any opportunity to make something of our lives. Free to pursue any dream that God has given us. What makes America great is that we are free to dream and then to act upon that dream with the resources at our disposal. Why try to fix what isn't broken? Yet, this is what the liberals constantly waste their time and efforts doing. The Biblical principle of "no work, no food" was given for a reason (2 Thessalonians 3:10). Take the opportunity, roll up your sleeves, and get to work. I know, it's a four-letter word. But the GOOD kind!

Now, I know someone is going to say, "But how can they work when there's no work?" My friend, there's always work. The problem is the money won't sustain the kind of lifestyle a person thinks they deserve. Is it any wonder the Apostle Paul told Timothy "and having food and raiment (clothes) let us therewith be content." (1 Timothy 6:8).

Nobel Peace Prize??? What in the world is next?

USA?

Here we are nearly one year into the pseudo presidency of Barack Obama. With the incredible expenditures, appointments, blatant disregard for the Constitution of the United States, I'm beginning to wonder how all the people who voted for him feel. Maybe they don't...feel.

As you know, the Constitution is pretty narrow in regards to who can be president of our Republic. That may bother some people, but for those of us who are Americans it suits us just fine! However, we now have a situation where the Democratic Party has, for the first time in American history, successfully carried out a coup. They have succeeded in duping the easily duped American public into voting for a candidate that has no constitutional right to the office of the president of the United States. Their candidate won and is now illegally occupying that office. I urge any American to visit www.impeachobamacampaign.com and get the facts!

Where is our country headed?

Only God knows because our elected representatives certainly don't. I've made calls to my congressmen and generally get good responses. However, I still don't hear my complaints being addressed. I do realize that I am just one among millions.

How do we take our country back?

It appears that we may be beyond that point. The conspiracy theorists have been at it for years and, quite frankly, they have been right about a lot of things. I know they always get the raw deal, but take a look around: the dollar is falling in value because of overprinting and out-of-control spending by our government; the world is calling for another reserve currency which results in the dollar being dumped; we're the laughing stock of the world because of our pseudo president's know-it-all attitude. I could go on, but what's the point. You and I both know that the USA is in trouble! Although, because of the coup orchestrated by the Democratic Party we now have a shadow government. It doesn't operate under the Constitution of the United States because it ISN'T the United States. We need some leaders in Washington! We need to pray that God will give us leaders with guts or America's days are nearing their end.

Pretty bleak??

Yes, it is. For the lost - those who don't know Christ as their Saviour. However, for those of us who DO know Christ it is exciting times in which we live. Scripture warns us that the world will get progressively worse as we near the return of Christ (rapture) and the return of Christ (coming as King, Israel's Redeemer).
